Emplas came to us because their previous website, though very comprehensive had become bloated over time. This had resulted in information becoming hard to find and most worrisome was a disconnect between their target audience and the messaging the site was conveying. As a result, bounce rate was high and customer enquiries from trade customers were limited. Additionally, they needed a website that would convey their brand, look modern and be easily updated by members in their team.
Urban Medias first task was to develop a new site structure that put their target customer first. A simplified sitemap was jointly developed that aimed to streamline the access of information and in turn increase lead generation. A WordPress website was selected for ease of use and coupled with a page builder allowing for anyone at the organisation to be able to easily update the content of the pages.
